Hi Dollies,
When it comes to shower gels, the first shower gel that I ever used was from Palmolive. Since many years I had not touched this brand. When I came across Palmolive Ayurituel Jouyous Shower gel,I grabbed it as it looked quite promising.
As you can see I have almost used the entire product. The packaging is nice and sturdy but opening the lid can be challenging, especially with slippery wet hands. Girls with long nails be careful! The color of the shower gel is purple. The bottle lasted me long, and for 160 bucks it is quite a good deal.
The fragrance of the shower gel reminds me of all other Palmolive Shower gels. It contains lotus and mulberry, but my nose had a difficult time detecting these fragrances. Honestly speaking I cant ignore the smell of 'soap' every time I open the lid. The smell is powerful but vanishes after shower. It promises peacefulness but I have used better shower gels which give peace and relaxation (of course they are not as affordable as Palmolive).
Coming to the cleansing part, it does a great job. It lathers alot and is easy to wash off. However it leaves my skin super dry. I have to rush and grab a moisturizer after using this shower gel. I am not fond of shower gels which feel soapy and leave my skin dry. So this is a major drawback for me.
Last Words-
I have used shower gels in the same price range which perform better and dont leave my skin demanding for immediate moisturisation. The Palmolive Ayuituel Joyous Shower Gel is not recommended for beauties with dry skin. But those who have oily skin and want a squeaky clean feel can opt for it.
