The FACE Shop Herb Day 365 Cleansing Foam Acerola: Review

Hello Ladies!

I am a big fan of Korean beauty products as they have a huge variety of products available in the cutest packaging possible. Fortunately The Face Shop products are stocked by Sephora India and they are perhaps the most reasonably priced brand in Sephora.
Today I am going to talk about The Face Shop Herb Day 365 Cleansing Foam ( Acerola) which I have been using for over a year now. It has been described as mild, natural cleanser, which brings more dampness with nine herbs and organic acid. For all skin types.
Price- Rs 400 for 170ml

Daily Cleanser

The fragrance of the Herb Day Cleanser is mild and pleasant so it is perfect for application on cozy winter nights. However it is not strong/fresh enough like a citrusy face wash to wake you up on lazy mornings ( I love face washes that awaken me). The cleanser comes in a simple white tube like packaging with pearl white creamy thick paste. It does not have any beads and therefore does not have any exfoliation properties.

The Face Shop Herb Day Cleansing Foam

The reason as to why it has served me for over a year now is that only a pea sized amount of the cleanser works up into a creamy foam. Yes a tiny dime sized portion cleanses the face amazingly well! It removes all dirt without making the skin feel tight or flaking. I have been using this over my dry skin this winter and I do not have any complaints. The face wash has softening and brightening effects. Whenever I use this regularly I find that my breakouts get controlled. Also I have heard this face wash works wonders for oily skin!

Pros-
  • mild
  • not overdrying
  • cleanses well
  • softens and brightens
  • lasts very long
  • affordable
  • simple sturdy packaging
Cons-
  • contains parabens

"I find that the milder the face wash, the better it works, and undoubtedly this is my HG face cleanser.
Why else would it feature in my haul two times ( 12) ?
The Herb Day Cleanser is truly a steal for which international brand offers such a huge tube at such a price? Look, how I justify my purchases...hee :)
So my point is, if the chemicals dont scare the hell out of you, then go grab it!"

  1. Very informative and straight-to-the-point post! I am not the biggest fan of The Face Shop because I break out with their moisturisers. But lately, I've been loving their cleansing oils! Thanks for sharing this review. :)
