L’Oreal Peach Fuzz Colour Riche Lipstick: Review & Swatches

Hello Dolls!

The shade 'Peach Fuzz' of L'Oreal Colour Riche range can be described as a gorgeous peachy pink shimmer lipstick. The shade is subtle and classy, great for working women, and for those who are not fond of vibrant colors.

The packaging of the lipstick is quite convenient. It comes in a golden metallic container, A good addition is the 'click-lock' system to help lock the lipstick when it is not being used.

Price- $ 8.95 approx

Talking of texture the L'Oreal Colour Riche Lipstick in Peachy Fuzz is soft and creamy. It glides beautifully on the lips and has a glossy finish. The fragrance of the lipstick is nothing special. It has that 'cosmetic' smell which reminds me of Lipsticks we had many years back. However it doesn't bother me much.

Coming to the shade. the lipstick is definately 'frosty'. It goes on a little sheer, but it is build-able.
The wearing power of the L'Oreal Colour Riche Lipstick isn't that great. It will last you an hour or so but that is understandable for a subtle shade. Also one downside for me was that it is stained my beautiful cups :(

Overall, I quite like the shade and creamy texture of the lipstick. I would recommend wearing the shade during the daytime as the shade looks drop dead gorgeous in sunlight.

Pros
  • glossy and creamy texture
  • glides easily
  • click lock packaging
  • looks stunning during daytime
  • perfect for office wear
Cons
  • poor staying power
  • cosmetic-like fragrance
  • sheer so one has to build it up (especially on pigmented lips)
  • can wash you out
  • shade is frosty so not recommended for teens

"L'Oreal Colour Riche Lipstick in Peach Fuzz is a gorgeous shade. However, there is a good chance it may wash you out.
So, I would recommend using a darker shade of lip liner underneath or building up the colour really well, so that the real shade shows up!"

Are you into frosty shades? I usually stick to high end brands when it comes to frosty lipsticks, for 'that 'EXPENSIVE' feel. What is your criteria of choosing a frosty lipstick? I would love to know!
