Revlon Parmfumerie Scented Nail Enamel: Bordeaux Review

Hello Beauties,

The Revlon Parmfumerie Scented Nail Enamels are causing a rave in the Beauty world & I am here to share my experience with you. I purchased two nail shades from this range out of which Bordeaux (pronounced as 'bored+0') is my favourite. The moment I saw this deep reddish wine colored nailpaint I knew I had to buy it. I think this shade will suit all skin tones. I can see myself wearing this shade alot in the coming season.
Price-Rs 350/-

Packaging: To begin with the Revlon Parfumerie Collection looks like miniature perfumes. They have an absolutely adorable glass packaging (prime reason behind my purchase).
Also the applicator of the nail paint is thin and therefore provides a clean and easy application experience.

Fragrance: Just like the name suggests, Bordeaux smells like fruity Red wine! You cannot sniff it immediately after opening the bottle but as the nail paint dries the fragrance gets stronger. They say the fragrance vanishes after 8 hours of application, but trust me I am on the third day and I can still smell red wine. You can smell the product even while you grab something to eat. I absolutely adore how comforting and warm the fragrance is!

The nail paint dries up giving a glossy and shiny finish. It goes opaque after 2 coats, however I have applied 3 coats. Also an added benefit is that it dries real quick and does not cause any fabric impressions.

Lastly I love it all the more because it has stayed put even on the third day. It has not chipped or faded. Only the glossiness has reduced a bit. Below is a picture showing the nail paint on the third day after application in natural sunlight. Remember I have not used any base or top coat.

Pros-

  • glossy satin finish
  • user friendly applicator
  • nail paint is long lasting
  • dries up quickly
  • perfume fragrance is deep and lasts days
  • will suit all skin tones
  • easily available
  • cute packaging
Cons-

  • expensive
  • not suitable for beauties who dont like the fragrance of Red wine
  • fragrance might be strong for some

" Bordeaux is a beautiful deep wine shade, that is perfect for the coming season. I am a fan of these Revlon nail paints, surely a must have for every girl in the beauty world. Which shade is your favourite? Do share!"
