Spice & Salt: Fabindia Black Sesame and Salt Body Polisher Review

Hello beauties,

I have used TBS Body Polisher and quite enjoyed the experience. I picked the Fabindia Black Sesame and Salt Body Polisher as I had never heard of a salt and spice body product before. The concept was very appealing.

Price- Rs 225 for 100g

I really wish Fabindia store would have let me get a sneak peek into the tin before buying the product. None the less, I give all you beauties a chance to peek inside-

Talking of packaging, I find it very inconvenient. It comes in a container which is difficult to open with wet hands. The smell of the product does not attract me either. It looks and smells like tea leaves to me.The body polisher is coarse and needs a binding agent such as yoghurt or oil.

What the body polisher did for me? The answer to this is, Nothing! But, yes, it did dirty my bathroom floor!
The body polisher is harsh and not at all recommended for facial scrubbing. Also Beauties with super sensitive skin stay miles away.  I did not like the feel of the body polisher on my skin. It did not make my skin smooth after application. The skin 'rejuvination' promised was not experienced. Also it left behind that 'smell' in my hands which i disliked!

Last Words- The fabindia black sesame and salt body polisher is messy and it failed to impress me. I am a person who loves trying out different scrubs but this one is definately worth skipping! For Rs 225 one can find better scrubs in the market or even a diy scrub at home can work better than this. People who induldge in organic stuff alot may understand or connect with this product, but for me it is a thumbs down.I did not notice any changes on my skin!

Have you ever used a salt & spice body product?
