Macadamia Natural Oil Nourishing Leave-In Cream Review

Hello Angels!

Macademia Natural Oil products are said to be one of the best for hair care and hence need no introduction. I have been using this leave in cream for more than a year now and I am here to share my experience with you. The leave in cream has also featured in my post regarding tips for long hair- HERE

Price- Rs 1680 for 300ml

Directions to use: Work a small amount through towel dried clean hair. Do not rinse. Style as usual. Perfect for everyday use.

Ingredients: Water (Aqua), Glycerin, Cetearyl Alcohol, Peg-20 Stearate, Hydrogenated Polydecene, Isopropyl Myristate, Lanolin, Fragrance (Parfum), Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil, Macadamia Ternifolia Seed Oil, Linum Usitatissimum (Linseed) Seed Oil, Cyclomethicone, Dimethicone, Peg-12 Dimethicone, Cetrimonium Chloride, Polyquaternium-28, Cetyl Alcohol, Triethanlamine, Butylene Glycol, Phenoxyethanol, Benzoic Acid, Chlorphenesin, Sorbic Acid, Limonene, Hexyl Cinnamal.

The leave in cream comes in a tall bottle with a pump dispenser. There are no chances of product leakage or contamination. However owing to its huge size it is not very travel friendly. The leave in cream is a thick white paste which smells pleasant and fresh. It is light and not over powering.
A pump or two is enough for my long hair. I usually rub the paste in my palms and run it through my wet hair concentrating towards dry ends.  The product can be too heavy for few people so practice is required. Once you get a hold of how much you need, things get easy.

Coming to its efficacy, this is my 2nd bottle in a year. I needed something to nurture my dry damaged ends and this sweetheart has done an awesome job since day 1! It defines soft curls beautifully and makes blow drying and combing so easy. The ends of my hair are well tamed and dont look rough anymore. The leave in cream does not make your hair sleek straight but it does add a healthy natural shine and makes you hair so much easier to maintain.

Pros-
  • sturdy packaging
  • nourishes dry damaged hair
  • defines curls
  • makes hair easy to comb
  • pleasant smell
  • lasts long
Cons-
  • can be greasy if applied too much
  • expensive
  • availbility

"Overall, The Macademia Nourishing leave in cream will seal the ends of your hair like nothing else. Only a pump or two is required depending upon the length of your hair. Hence the luxurious  product lasts you quite long.  If you have dry rough hair that needs moisture and nourishment then you should definitely try this kiddo, it can make a huge difference!"
