Current Haircare Routine & Tips For Long Hair- February 2015

Hello beauties!

It has been almost a year since I posted my last haircare routine so I thought of posting an updated version. I have always had thick long hair with oily scalp and dry ends. Last year my hair stylist chopped off a little more length than I had actually asked for. I was determined to make it grow as fast as possible and by taking extra care my hair did grow back to its regular length in 6 months! This time the growth was faster and healthier..lets see how!

I abide by one simple principle, less is more! Yes I do apply heat on my hair but not every single day, and I do apply finishing sprays but not every single day!

Hair oil-

I have been mixing 2-3 drops of Soulflower Rosemary Essential Oil with Aloe Veda Distil Virgin Sesame Oil. I apply this combination on a weekly basis and I feel it is greatly responsible for my accelerated hair growth. Rosemary is awesome for hairgrowth and sesame is great for killing dandruff in winter months.

Shampoo and Conditioner-

I am an ardent fan of Sunsilk shampoos and currently I am using the Stunning Black Shine Shampoo which is so dependable! I have also been using the Tresemme Hair Spa Conditioner for my dry ends. Expect a detailed review soon.

Post Shampoo Products-

After shower I follow up with Macademia Nourishing Leave in Cream on wet hair. To maintain my dry ends I also use a serum and currently I am using the Livon Moroccan Silk Serum which is doing a fair job with my hair. For hassle free combing I use my HG hair comb- Tangle Teezer. This is a blessing for all girls with long hair!

" As you can see I try to go for deep conditioning and tangle free products so as to maintain healthy lustrous locks. All these products when used in moderation make my hair silky, manageable and frizz free. You can also observe faster hair growth with this method.  The healthier your hair, the faster it will grow!
So what are your HG haircare products? Do share!"

  2. I want the tangle teezer, the macadamia leave-in cream, and Livon Moroccan Silk Serum! I have very dry hair as well and most of the products I use do nothing on my hair. Hoping these will...
