Winter Moisturisation: Lush Dream Cream Review

Hello Angels!

As I have severe dry/sensitive skin my favourite part in skincare is 'moisturisation'. I am always in the hunt for that perfect moisturiser with that perfect formula & the perfect fragrance. After trying a million moisturisers my favorite drugstore brand has to be vaseline ,when it comes to high end I adore Bath And Body Works.
Today I am going to discuss Lush Dream Cream Hand And Body Lotion which my mom's HG product. Sadly, Lush products are no longer easily available to us ever since Lush decided to move out of India. But, what are good friends and relatives abroad for, right?
Price- Rs 1300 approx for 240 gms

Bath and Body Works - Warm Vanilla Sugar Body Butter Review

Hi Everyone,

I am guilty..Yes, ladies you heard it right, ''I am freaking guilty of being a Bath and Body Works addict!' I have an enormous collection of this brand and I am very possessive about all my Bath and Body Works babies.
The Warm Vanilla Sugar range is a must have from this brand. It is a rich cozy scent which smells like vanilla cake that has just come out of the baking oven. It has a touch of 'sugary' scent but isn't really sweet. I would say the fragrance is soft and cozy enough for autumn evenings!

Price- $15 for 7 oz

Shea Cashmere & Silk Hand Cream Review – Bath & Body Works

Hello everyone!

I am back after a long time, as I had so much shifting to do and I did not have internet connection. Today I am going to review a product which was promised by me a long time back - Bath and Body Works Shea Cashmere & Silk Hand Cream. Yes, by now we all know how much i love lotions, especially Hand Creams.

Okay so it is as hot as 42 degrees celsius where i stay..pheww! But i still make it a point to lightly moisturise my dry skin areas from time to time. I have been using The Shea Cashmere & Silk hand cream from bbw for quite some time now. Lets see how it worked for me.

price- $ 12.50 for 2.5 oz

ingredietients and directions -

To begin with the fragrance of the cream is lovely, like all other bbw creams. It is quite sweet and strong. It lasts for quite some time after application. The packaging of the product is user friendly and it is compact enough to get inside my purse.

Coming to the main part, the texture - i would say this cream does soften my hands but does not moisturise it. It is like a temporary coating on my hands, I wish it gave a more 'sinking in' feeling to my skin. However, it is not greasy or oily.

I would say this cream is quite okay for summers, but i would definately need a better cream for winters.

pros-

smells yummy
fragrance lasting power is great
not greasy

cons-

availabilty
not suitable for those who dont like strong sweet fragrances
not very moisturising
pricey

Final Verdict-

There is no doubt that BBW products are my all time favourites. This hand cream however, is the kind i would not re-purchase, But at the same time i dont regret buying it. It is more of a daily luxury hand cream rather than a treatment.

Nivea Lip Butter in Caramel Cream~ Review

Hey everyone!

Today i am going to share with you a product that has been much loved by so many beauty gurus. I really wanted to find out if it was worth the hype, hence i purchased it the moment i saw it in India. I have been using this product ever since.

price- Rs 189 for 16.7gm

packaging- small tin like packaging

ingredients-

To begin with,i somehow am drawn towards the tin like packaging. I find it cute and different from other tube like lip balms. However, one must ensure that our hands our nice and clean before we apply the product on our lips.

Coming to the fragrance, i will have to say that it is not overpowering and does not stay for long. The lip butter does not show up on my lips, it may however leave a slight whitish caste if applied too many times.

The texture of the lip butter is very smooth. It is easy to apply and in comparison to other lip balms i find that it lasts the longest. It is not sticky at all. In fact i have also used this several times around my nails and found it to be doing a great job moisturising that area.

Pros-

non- sticky
heals chapped lips
great for using in dry skin as well
lasts longer than other lip balms
fragrance is not over powering
little goes a long way

cons-

may leave a whitish tint if applied too many times
tin packaging may be unhygenic for some

Last Words-

Of late, Nivea has really impressed me. I absolutely love this product. By far it is the best lip product i have used. I will surely try its second variant as soon as this one gets over!
