Za True White Day Cream: Nice Or Not?

Hello pretty girls,

I had stocked up on 3 Za products and was using them religiously ever since my Olay Cream plus Serum Duo got over.( Read more about my current skincare routine and from where I made my purchases here.) I have been using this cream for over 2 months and the reason for the late review is simply because I really like to test skincare products, be sure of them and then make honest recommendations.

About Za True White Day Cream:

'' This brightening Day Cream gives high Whitening effect by diminishing melanization, dark spots, blemish marks and patchiness to reveal translucent, clear skin and Moisturizing effect by removing excess surface cells and deeply hydrating skin from inside-out. SPF 20 PA++ formula protects from UVA & UVB.''

Key Ingredients:
Vitamin C, whitening 4msk, spa ingredients, white lily extract

Price; Rs 999 for 40 gms

To begin with, I am very comfortable with my natural skintone, and I am not fond of whitening products at all. The only reason as to why I bought this product was because it promised reduction in blemishes and scars.
The product looks like a rich white cream which is non greasy in texture and gets absorbed quickly.

My Skin type: I have combination to dry skin with uneven skin tone. I suffer from flakiness and a few occasional breakouts which leave behind scars.

My Experience: Za true white day cream contains spf which is an added benefit. The cream gets absorbed into my dry skin quickly without leaving a white caste on my face. The cream moisturises instantly providing hydration to skin. It is great to use before applying makeup on dry skin so that there is no flakiness. It did not cause me any breakouts or clog my pores. So far I was satisfied with the product. However it did not succeed in reducing stubborn scars caused by pimples. Honestly, I did not notice any marked improvement in my skin tone either.

Pros-
  • Improves skin condition by making it soft
  • provides moisturisation
  • hydrates skin
  • contains spf
  • not greasy
  • lasts long
Cons-
  • not effective on stubborn marks
  • no marked improvement in skintone
  • availability

Overall Verdict: To sum up Za true white day cream although pricey, comes in a tub which is hard to finish! It is great for providing moisturisation to the skin without causing breakouts. It does imporove the skin condition. However It may not be very effective in dealing with stubborn pimple marks. I recommend it to girls who need a good moisturising product with spf.

Za belongs to the house of Shiseido. It has worked for many in removing dark spots & blemishes however for me all it did was 'moisturise'. Did it work for you? I have 2 more Za reviews coming up till then take care!
 Hugs!
