Hello all my pretty ladies! How have you been? I finally got a new smart phone and feel owned by it now!
Today I am going to share with you the first product I got from Korea, Nature's Republic Soothing And Moisture Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel.
Just like its huge name, the product comes in a huge giant tub which is almost impossible to finish.
Price- $ 5.66 for 300ml
The product is described as,''a mild formula free from artificial colors,mineral oil and parabens''. The texture of the light green colored clear gel is non-sticky and it has a fresh fragrance.
Uses- the soothing gel has multiple uses, i sometimes use it as a moisturizer for my face and body. I have also used this as a leave-in product after hair wash. Some of its other uses are explained in the chart below-
Okay so lets see if this product, does what it promises. Well i would say it is a quite refreshing gel. But i could not gather any miraculous effects from its constant usage. I know this soothing gel is a bestseller, hence I constantly kept telling myself that i needed to wait and may be one day it would impress me. I kept wondering, what is wrong with me? Why dont I like it?
# As far moisturisation goes, It did not help my dry skin. I always needed to apply cream after using this gel. At one point I felt as if it was making my skin drier! May be it works for oily skin, but for dry skin it is not recommended!
# I used the soothing gel, as a leave in after hair wash. It did make hair easier to comb through but did not add any shine or glossiness. My mother actually realised that this gel made her hair more frizzy!
To cut a long story short, I really wanted to love this product but sometimes i think it is just not meant to be!
Definitely wont be repurchasing! Also this experience proved to me that it is very much possible, that a best seller does not always have to work for me!
