Nykaa Pastel Nail Enamel: Creme Brulee, No. 44 Review, Photos

Hello Doves!

Who does not like creamy nudes? I can never have enough of them. Nykaa nail enamel No 44 is one of them. It is a unique shade that is difficult to find in other brands, It renders a sophisticated look to Indian skintone.

Price- Rs 145/- for 10ml

The packaging of the Nykaa nail enamel is very similar to that of Ciate. I wish they had included something cute like the 'bow' as well! Talking of ease in application, by far this is the best I've used at this price. The applicator is long and thin for precise application. The shape of the bottle makes it easy to hold when you are applying the nail paint, without it slipping away.
Coming to texture, it is on the thinner side. A good 2 coats make it look opaque. The texture is matte creamy and not glossy. Creamy shades such as Maybelline Color Show Cotton Candy nail enamels are difficult to apply. However this is one is much better. It dries real quick and starts chipping only after 4-5 days.

Coming to Creme brulee as a shade, I am totally in love with it. It is the perfect pastel nude for my skin. It gives a clean manicured look to my hands. I would describe it as a 'nude' which will catch your attention. My only issue being, the strong smell of the nail polish. However it vanishes soon after the nail paint dries.

Pros-
  • unique nude shade
  • easy application
  • dries quickly
  • lasts long
  • affordable
Cons-
  • strong smell
  • not available widely (only available in www.nykaa.com)

"Nykaa pastel nail enamel in Creme Brulee has really impressed me. The shade, formulation and packaging is perfect. I know pastels are more commonly linked with springs and summers. Srangely Creme brulee, is more of a winter pastel. Which pastel shade do you love the most from their collection? I would love to know."
